డిసెంబర్ 20 వ తేదీన విశాలాంధ్రమహాసభ ప్రతినిధులు ఆంధ్ర ప్రదేశ్ ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ నల్లారి కిరణ్ కుమార్ రెడ్డి గారిని ఆయన కార్యాలయంలో కలిసి ట్యాంక్ బండ్ పై విధ్వంసానికి గురయ్యిన తెలుగు మహనీయుల విగ్రహాలను వచ్చే ఉగాదిలోగా పునఃప్రతిష్ఠించాలని కోరుతూ మెమోరాండం సమర్పించారు. దానికి సానుకూలంగా స్పందించిన సీఏం విగ్రహాల పునఃప్రతిష్ఠించే కార్యక్రమాన్ని వేగవంతం చేస్తామని హామీ ఇచ్చారు. మిలియన్ మార్చ్ రోజున ట్యాంక్ బండ్ పై ఆందోళనకారులపై చర్య తీసుకొంటే వచ్చే పరిణామాలను దృష్టిలో ఉంచుకొనే విగ్రహాల ధ్వంసాన్ని ఆపలేకపోయామన్నారు. పోలీసుచర్యలో ఎవరైనా ప్రాణాలు కోల్పోయివుంటే పరిస్థితి అదుపుతప్పుతుందేమోనన్న ఆలోచన చేశామన్నారు.

It is better that the statues be immediately installed in a museum and later when political situation calms down after some solution is found, one can think of installing it in public places. Otherwise as Syamaleeyam warns the vandalism and humiliations will repeat - after all vandals lose nothing by breaking things - it is a joy for them!

Let the broken statues and damaged pedestals remain as they are now after the vandalism.It will be a reminder for every one what we are capable of. There should be no attempt to repair the damage done.Signs of the vandalism should be allowed to remain so that future generations would have an idea of our level ( or depth?) of our civilisation

రిప్లయితొలగించండిIf there is no valid section to hang T-vaadis(branded by us as separatists and Talebans), we should create a new section in our constitution.
If similar incidents (such as blasting of RDS) happened from samaikyavadis, we should amend the law to set them free and award them. Mind that samaikyavadis are fighting for a higher purpose of keeping telugus united for the benefit of few industrialists and contractors.

Law of natural justice is above any IPC or CrPC. I am 200% sure that those vandals are identified and some one in higher government had signed a post dated death warrant for them. It is only a matter of time before the warrant is executed.
