‘విశాలాంధ్ర మహాసభ’ ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ రాష్ట్ర సమైక్యతను కాపాడడం కోసం కృషి చేస్తున్న సంస్థ. రాజకీయాలకు అతీతమైనది. ‘విశాలాంధ్ర మహాసభ’ తెలంగాణ, కోస్తా మరియు రాయలసీమ ప్రాంతాలకు చెందిన మేధావులు, నిపుణులు, విద్యావేత్తలు మరియు సమాజశ్రేయస్సు కోసం కృషి చేస్తున్న అనేకమంది వ్యక్తులు కలిసి స్థాపించిన సంస్థ.
మనరాష్ట్రంలో జరుగుతున్న వేర్పాటువాద ఆందోళన, హింస మరియు విధ్వంసక చర్యలను ప్రోత్సహిస్తూ, తెలంగాణ ప్రజలు అన్యాయానికి గురైయ్యారన్న అసత్య ఆరోపణల ఆధారంగా సాగుతున్నది. విభజనవాదులు అబద్ధాలను నిజాలుగా చిత్రీకరిస్తున్నారు. వాస్తవాలను వక్రీకరిస్తున్నారు.మా ఉద్దేశంలో ప్రత్యేక తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర ఏర్పాటు కోసం జరుగుతున్న ఆందోళన పూర్తిగా అసమంజసమైనది.
ఈ సందర్భంలో, విశాలాంధ్ర మహాసభ ‘రాష్ట్ర సమైక్యతను కాపాడుదాం’ అనే అంశం పై మీడియా వర్క్ షాప్ మరియు ఎగ్జిబిషన్ నిర్వహించతలపెట్టింది. మన రాష్ట్రానికి సంబంధించిన సామాజిక, ఆర్ధిక, రాజకీయ, సాంస్కృతిక మరియు చారిత్రక నిజాలను మీడియా వర్క్ షాప్ మరియు ఎగ్జిబిషన్ ద్వారా ప్రజల ముందుకు తేవడం యీ ప్రయత్నం యొక్క ముఖ్య ఉద్దేశం.
వేర్పాటువాద ఆందోళన ప్రచారం చేస్తున్న నిందలు,అవాస్తవాలు,వక్రీకరణలు, అసత్యాలను ఖండించి నిజానిజాలను తెలిసుకోవడంలో మా యీ ప్రయత్నం సహాయపడుతుందని ఆశిస్తున్నాము.

@సూటిగా: ఎవరి భాషను వారు గౌరవించడం మంచిదే కానీ భాషను తల్లి, చెల్లి, ఆమ్మ, యేరాలు, వదినె లాంటి చుట్టరికాలతో పిల్చుకోవడం మాకు అలవాటు లేదు. ఆ మాటకొస్తే మాకు అన్ని భాషలూ సమానమే. Language is for communications, not manipulating emotions.

The NTR starrer "Kalasivunte Kaladu Sukham" is old hat (పాత చింతకాయ పచ్చడి) now. Who has time for these classics in the days of దూకుడు?

@andhrudu: Who said Telangana does not include Telugus? Telugu is an important language of Telangana but not the only one.

My preference for commenting in English is based on convenience. The absence of Hindi, Telugu & Kannada keyboards makes it difficult to use these languages.

అయ్యా మహానుభావా అవి రెండు పేజ్ ల అడ్రస్ లు అని నాకైతే క్లియర్ గా తెలుస్తోంది. ఆ పేజీలు కూడా ఓపెన్ కావడం జరుగుతోంది. మీరు ఆ విషయం గమనించకుండా గుడ్డిగా మొత్తం కాపీ చేసి అడ్రస్ బార్ లో పేస్ట్ చేసినట్టున్నారు. అయినా మీ సౌలభ్యం కోసం మరో మారు చైతన్య గారు ఇచ్చిన లింక్ లు వేరు వేరుగా ఇస్తున్నాను.

False. Maharashtra & Gujarat were formed many years later. Punjab & Haryana were formed after Nehru & Shastri both died.

The movements for Harit Pradesh, Bundelkhand, Vidarbha, Bodoland, Gorkhaland etc. are quite old and popular. VP Sathe raised Vidarbha demand in the late seventies. Movements win or fail on their own strength, not as a domino effect as the author tries to project.
In any case Bodoland, Gorkhaland, Tulu Nadu & Konkan are a logical extension of the linguistic states principle he is fighting to "preserve". What is so great about Telugu that it can have its own state but deny it to Bodo, Nepali, Tulu & Konkani languages?
A quick glance at the first few paragraphs of the article throws up a hotchpotch of arguments debunked several times. The author is obviously good at preaching to the converted at not at convincing anyone else.
