భావవ్యక్తీకరణ స్వేఛ్చను అడ్డుకోవడం పిరికితనం : విశాలాంధ్ర మహాసభ ప్రెస్ మీట్

Visalandhra.org : “We will do all we can to protect the right of the Separatists to express their views anywhere. Can the Separatists take this challenge to defend the right the Integrationists who want  their point of view to be heard?” questioned Dr Parakala Prabhakar, general secretary, Visalandhra Mahasabha.

The occasion was the book release function organized by VMS at Basheerbagh Press Club today (November 12). The book “Think My Telangana Brothers” written by Venkataiah who hails from Nalgonda was released by veteran freedom fighter Sri Narra Madhava Rao.

VMS on the occasion made a demand to the State Government to announce compensation to the farmers in the state whose crops suffered due to power shut-downs during the recent general strike.

“While all other stake-holders including the government employees got relief, it is the farmer community which was denied any material help,” Nalamotu Chakravarthy, president, VMS said.

Not to miss a chance to grab some cheap publicity, a few miscreants who claim to be Telangana Advocates JAC members stormed the Press Club premises and sought to disrupt the proceedings. However, the police dispersed them.

“We are ready to discuss the pros and cons of the division of the state on any platform and we want the Separatists to engage in such a debate,” Dr Parakala said.

He also expressed concern that some unsocial elements were trying to physically harm the author Venkataiah, as he exposed Prof Jayashankar’s propaganda concerning various issues in Telangana.

Kommineni.info :  విశాలాంధ్ర మహాసభ ఆధ్వర్యంలో హైదరాబాద్ లో ఎట్టకేలకు సమావేశం జరిగింది. కొందరు తెలంగాణ న్యాయవాదులు అడ్డుకోవడానికి ప్రయత్నించినా పోలీసులు అదుపు చేశారు.తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రం కోరుతూ ఫ్రొఫెసర్ జయశంకర్ చెప్పినవన్ని అబద్దాలు అని రుజువు చేసే విధంగా తెలంగాణలోని కొందరు సమైక్యవాదులు పుస్తకాలు రాశారని ఈ సందర్భంగా అన్నారు. తెలంగాణలో సైతం సమైక్యవాదులైన వాసుదేవరెడ్డి, నర్రా మాధవరావు, నల్లమోతు చక్రవర్తి వంటి వారు ఉన్నారని, వారు నిజాలు చెబితే తమను తెలంగాణ ప్రజలు నిలదీస్తారని చెప్పి తమ సభలకు అడ్డుపడాలని చూస్తున్నారని పరకాల వ్యాఖ్యానించారు. ఎవరి వాదనలు వారు చెప్పుకునే స్వేచ్చ ఉండాలని, అప్పుడు ప్రజలు ఎవరి వాదన నిజం అనుకుంటే ఆ వాదనను విశ్వసిస్తారని , అంతేకాని ఇలా అడ్డుకోవడానికి ప్రయత్నించడం పిరికి తనం అవుతుందని పరకాల వ్యాఖ్యానించారు. తెలంగాణ వాదం పేరుతో వారు అసత్యాలు ప్రచారం చేస్తున్నారని,వాటిని తాము రుజువు చేస్తున్నామని భయపడే వారు ఇలాంటి దాడులకు పాల్పడుతున్నారని, నల్లమోతు చక్రవర్తి సవివరంగా అంకెలతో సహా ఆ విషయాలు తెలియ చేస్తే ఆయన పుస్తకావిష్కరణను అడ్డుకోవడానికి వారు యత్నించారని పరకాల విమర్శించారు. మొత్తం మీద ప్రెస్ క్లబ్, జర్నలిస్టుల సంఘం నేత అమర్ వంటి వారి సహకారంతో ఈ కార్యక్రమం నడవడం విశేషం. తాము వీరి వాదనలను ఒప్పుకుంటామా? లేదా? అన్నది వేరే విషయం అని, కాని విశాలాంధ్ర మహాసభ సమావేశం జరుపుకోవడం తప్పుకాదని అమర్ చెప్పారని, అందుకు కృతజ్ఞతలు తెలియచేస్తున్నామని ఆయన అన్నారు.
